- **Event Description**: Get ready for take-off! The Squamish Flying Club is thrilled to host the 3rd annual Discover Aviation Day at Squamish Airport/Don Patrick Field!

Ever dreamed of soaring through the skies? This is your chance!  We're inviting young adventurers, ages 8 to 18, to come and explore the amazing world of aviation at this fun filled event.

Volunteer pilots from the Squamish Flying Club will be offering FREE flights on a first-come, first-served basis.  Plus, you can meet the amazing teams that call the Squamish Airport home - Squamish Search and Rescue, Glacier Air and Black Tusk Helicopter.  Flights are weather dependent, but we'll have planes and interactive activities, rain or shine.  Plus, there will be a tasty food truck on site to keep your crew fueled up.

Flights take off: 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
